Renewable Energy At Home

Transition Cambridge Renewable Energy group are putting on this event which is a forum where you can find out about renewable energy technologies for the home: Solar PV, Solar hot water, air source heat pumps. There will be experts and experienced householders  to answer your questions:

• Solar PV (electricity) (Andy Rankin of Midsummer Energy)
• Solar hot water (Mark Normal of Solarworks)
• Air and Ground source heat pumps (Peter Melhuish of EST)

Since the feed in tariffs have been introduced, Solar PV looks to be an excellent investment (up to 5% tax free, which is better than most banks) which should get better still as energy prices rise.
