Graham Ford. The personal realities of running innovative start-up companies
Graham built his first solar panel at the age of 14, and has remained passionate about solar power ever since. In the last 10 years he has set up 2 companies developing concentrating solar energy technology to meet real human needs. The previous one, Heliodynamics was bought by the Swiss firm Energymixx.
His latest company is Ecopartners focussing on concentrating baseload power. This could raise the quality of life of the world's poorest people, but business realities means it must first win customers who can afford to pay..
Graham will share his own personal story of what is involved in running innovative start-up companies, the lessons he’s learned and his vision for the way forward.
